Join the official MAB14 opening
The Official Opening of the Media Architecture Biennale 2014 takes place 18:00 on November 20, 2014 at Godsbanen, Skovgaardsgade 3A, Aarhus – and everyone’s invited.
Godsbanen is a cultural centre, boasting open workshops, studios, project rooms, theatre stages, auditoriums, dance halls, and more. And it’s the main venue of MAB14 (photo: Godsbanen).
The event features welcome addresses by:
- Mayor of Aarhus Jacob Bundsgaard
- Chairman of the Regional Council, Bent Hansen
- Pro-Rector, Aarhus University, Berit Eika
- Managing Director of Aarhus 2017 Rebecca Matthews
- Media Architecture Biennale Founder Dr Gernot Tscherteu and General Chair Dr Martin Brynskov
Opening keynote by Adam Greenfield, London School of Economics
Tapas and bubbles will be served after the talks, followed by a concert at Radar. You also have the opportunity to see some of the World’s most outstanding examples of media architecture at the biennale exhibition – also at Godsbanen.
