City architects to meet at MAB14

Media architecture augments public space and creates new settings for life in the city. Thus, as a city architect or city planner, it’s important to grasp the concept of media architecture. And it’s important to exchange ideas with one’s peers and discuss each other’s take on the advantages, possibilities, challenges and pitfalls of media architecture.

There is a chance to do just that, when MAB14 hosts the first ever workshop on media architecture for city architects and city planners.

A number of cities have already committed to participating, including Austin, Texas – and of course Aarhus, Denmark.

The workshop will be moderated by Peter Bishop, an architect and Professor of urban design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and Stephen Willacy, City Architect of Aarhus.
