Arrived? Confused?! We’ll help
- Where’s the venue?
The main venue is Godsbanen (‘the Freight Yard’) in central Aarhus. The adress is Skovgaardsgade 3-5, DK-8000 Aarhus C. Walk here from your hotel or the train station – or take one of the yellow city busses or a taxi. Read more about venue & travel.
The Award Show takes place at Aarhus City Hall and part of the exhibition takes place at the Main Library. Both are within walking distance of the main venue.
- Where can I pick up my pass for it all?
The registration desk opens on Thursday November 20 from 8 AM. It’s at Godsbanen, the main venue. On Wednesday November 19, you can pick it up at the social event at the Main Library of Aarhus.
- I’m in Copenhagen and not entirely sure where to go for the pre-event…
We’re meeting up at the Metro Station at Kongens Nytorv at 09:00. Read more about the pre-event.
- I’ve travelled to Copenhagen. How do I get to Aarhus?
If you’re part of the pre-event, we’ll take you by bus. No worries.
If you’re not part of the pre-event: Train is the easiest. They leave twice every hour from central Copenhagen to central Aarhus. Read more about venue & travel.
- Can I join any MAB14 stuff for free?
Absolutely. The Official Opening with tapas, bubbles and a keynote (on Thursday) is free. The Award Show at City Hall on Friday is free (on Friday). So is the social event at the Main Library. And exhibition is also free.
- I haven’t bought a pass yet. Can I still make it?
Registration ends on November 20, so you still have a shot. Read more about registration.
- Are you kidding me with this weather?!
No. But the next biennale takes place in Sydney (May 2016), so it will at least get better.
